About · United States
We get contractors found where the work is.
Rank on Maps is a local search studio for US home service contractors. We put businesses into the Google Maps top 3 across the zip codes they actually service, and get them named when a homeowner asks an assistant who to call.

Went from near-invisible to majority top-3 coverage
Most contractors we take on are not losing because their work is worse. They are losing to companies with fewer trucks and thinner reviews, because a profile is filed under the wrong category, or because a rank report has been measuring from one point and calling it a ranking.
That gap between what a report says and what is actually happening on the map is the reason this company exists. A homeowner three zip codes away runs a different search than a homeowner outside your shop, and Google treats them differently. If you are not measuring that, you are not measuring anything.
So every engagement starts with a grid scan. Dozens of points across the service area, the same points every month, showing where you hold a top-three position and where you do not appear at all. It is usually the first time a contractor has seen the actual shape of their coverage, and it normally reframes the conversation within about ten minutes.
From there the work is unglamorous and it compounds. Category and profile rebuilt against what is really ranking in your metro. Reviews turned into a rate instead of a trophy. Content written for markets you can genuinely speak to, rather than eighty templated city pages that Google spent the March 2026 core update dismantling. Then the same grid, re-scanned, next to the calls it produced.
What we will not do
This is the more useful half of an about page. Anyone can list services.
We do not guarantee rankings
Nobody controls the algorithm, and Google's own guidelines say to avoid any agency that promises a position. We commit to grid-verified reporting instead, so you can check the work rather than trust it.
We do not build fake locations
Virtual offices and addresses that nobody works from get detected, get profiles suspended, and frequently take the original profile down with them. We have been called in to clean up after it. It is not quickly recoverable.
We turn work down
We decline market expansion engagements more often than we accept them. If you have not saturated your home market, or you cannot crew the extra volume, expansion costs you money and reputation.
We do not name our clients
Clients were getting cold-called off our own results page. Every case on this site is real and anonymized: no business names, no cities, no links out. Verifiable to you on a call, not to your competitors.
We measure on a grid, not a rank check
Google Maps results are computed from where the searcher is standing, so one rank check describes one spot. We report the map, including the parts of it you are losing.
We cite our numbers
Every figure on this site traces to a real client account or a named published source. Where a call figure covers a whole account rather than one keyword, the card says so.

The company
Rank on Maps is founded and run by Daniel Girmay. It trades as Rank On Maps and operates as DEEG Consulting LLC, a Florida company.
We work with a deliberately small number of contractors at a time, because the grid work, the profile work and the reporting are done properly per account rather than run off a template. That is also why we say no to a meaningful share of the businesses that approach us.
What we do
Service
Google Business Profile
Your profile decides which searches you are allowed to compete for. Most contractors we take on are losing to companies with fewer trucks and worse reviews, purely because their profile is built wrong.
Service
Map pack ranking
Ranking number one from your own shop is easy and close to worthless. The money is in the zip codes where you do not appear at all.
Service
Local SEO
Your website is not a brochure next to your profile. It is one of the things Google reads to decide whether that profile deserves the zip codes you want.
Service
AI search visibility
A growing share of "who should I call" is now asked to an assistant instead of a search box. The companies those assistants name are the ones they can read clearly enough to trust.
Selective
Market expansion
You have the crews and the capacity. You are winning near the shop and losing everywhere else. At that point optimization is no longer the constraint.
Start with the map, not a pitch.
A grid scan shows you exactly which zip codes you own and which ones you are invisible in. No obligation, and you keep the scan either way.
